Polzeath is a great base to visit many local attractions. Port Isaac (home of (Doc Martin) is only a few miles up the road, as well as many other local Villages that are well worth a visit. There are numerous walks, such as the cliff path to Port Quin, or the cliff path to Daymer Bay and Rock, where you can then catch the ferry to Padstow.

Polzeath, Rock Daymer Bay and Padstow offer numerous water sports, boat trips and fishing trips (find out more on our "what to do" page). If the hustle and bustle of a busy beach is not your scene, a short walk along the cliff path to Damer Bay will take you to Greenaway Beach, which is secluded and quiet.
